You have bought a car in another city, you are selling one to a buyer abroad, or it needs to go to an official workshop, a rally or your holiday home. Driving it hundreds of miles adds distance to the odometer, wears tyres and brakes and leaves room for the unexpected; putting it on an open trailer leaves it out in the weather for the whole journey.
Lory Trasporti takes it there in an enclosed transporter, secured by the wheels, with a driver who knows cars. We start from Coazze, near Turin, and deliver door to door across Italy and Europe.

Why choose enclosed transport
A high-end car is also worth what it looks like: paint, wheels, interior, the condition it is in when someone receives it. In a closed, insulated bay it arrives exactly as it left, with no dust, rain or stones along the way and not one extra mile.
When you buy or sell a fine car, the handover matters too: the car comes off the vehicle clean and ready to show, rather than at the end of a long drive.
Then there is value: many high-end cars are judged partly on their mileage, and a thousand-kilometre drive stays on the odometer for good. Delivery in a closed bay avoids the issue altogether.

How we protect the car
The straps work on the tyres and chocks hold the wheels: no hooks on the chassis, suspension free to move as it does on the road. The bay doors stay shut for the whole trip and we only stop where you have agreed.
The car stays on the same vehicle from collection to delivery: no stopover in a depot, no transfers, no third-party carrier. The person who loads it is the person who hands it over.
If someone else is handing the car over or receiving it, such as the seller, a workshop or one of your staff, we arrange keys, documents and timing with them directly, so nobody is left waiting.
Cars in transit are insured; the coverage limit is stated in your quote. You can tell us the value of the car in the request form.

Italy and Europe
We collect and deliver all over Italy. Abroad we often travel to France and Monaco, Switzerland, Germany and the United Kingdom; for Switzerland and the UK, which are outside the European Union, we take care of customs and ATA carnets.
One car or several per trip: a dealer can ship several cars together, a private owner can have the bay to themselves. You decide when you ask for the quote.

At the collection address the car goes in, is secured by the wheels and the bay closes.

Door to door, on the same vehicle, on the agreed day. The car comes out in front of you or whoever you name.

Frequently asked questions
Enclosed transport or an open car transporter?
For a valuable car, enclosed transport keeps rain, salt, dust and stones off it for the whole trip and keeps it out of sight. We only work with enclosed vehicles.
Do you collect from and deliver to my address?
Yes, wherever you tell us. If access is hard for a heavy vehicle, a narrow lane or a restricted traffic zone for instance, we discuss it first and choose the most convenient spot together.
Do you work with dealers and showrooms?
Yes: deliveries to customers, transfers between branches and cars bought out of area, with a direct contact and a fixed price for every trip.
Can I ship several cars on the same trip?
Yes. We carry one car or several per trip, as you need: we settle it together when we prepare the quote.
What do I need to prepare before collection?
Keys and the car’s documents; for trips abroad we tell you what customs requires. If the car has particular needs, such as very low ground clearance or a disconnected battery, add them to the notes of your request.
Is the car insured during the trip?
Yes. Cars in transit are insured; the coverage limit is stated in your quote.
How long does a quote take?
We reply within one hour. All we need is the make and model, the collection and delivery points and a way to reach you.
