Prototypes and confidentiality
Confidential prototype car transport under NDA
A prototype on the road is confidential information on four wheels. One photo taken at a motorway service station can give away a launch months early; a test mule left in view in the wrong yard becomes a news story. That is why prototypes travel with us in an enclosed transporter, under a confidentiality agreement and with no photos of the load whatsoever.
We are based in Coazze, just outside Turin, a city that is one of the historic centres of the Italian car and design industry, and we reach proving grounds, motor shows and photo shoots across Europe.
01
Who we work for
Car makers, design centres and engineering firms that need to move cars not yet unveiled: between headquarters and suppliers, to test centres, to events.
They call us for a single transfer or for a series of trips tied to a development programme. Either way your contact is the same person from start to finish, and what we learn about the project stays with those who need to know it.
A development programme has dates that do not move: a car expected at a test session cannot turn up the day after. So planning starts from the day the prototype is needed at its destination, not the day it is ready to leave.
02
Confidentiality
We work under a confidentiality agreement (NDA). Unmarked vehicles are available for prototypes. The prototype travels in a closed bay and is never photographed: not at loading, not on the road, not at delivery.
We do not share route details. In the load register published on this site the route column is always redacted, and prototypes do not appear at all. The prototype stays on the same vehicle, with the same driver, with no transfers and no unagreed stops.
- Confidentiality agreement (NDA)
- Unmarked vehicles available
- No photos of the load
- Route not disclosed
03
Cars: test mules, pre-production, concept cars
Camouflaged test mules, pre-production cars, concept and show cars for motor shows, development cars with temporary parts. Concept and show cars often do not run, or only at walking pace: we also carry non-running cars.
Every car has its own rules: some must not be started, others need a precise loading procedure, others have fragile or unfinished parts. We agree them with your technical contact before collection, and the car is always tied down by the wheels, away from bodywork and components.
04
Routes: proving grounds, motor shows, shoots
From the design centre to the proving ground, from headquarters to the motor show, from the development department to the set of a photo shoot or a commercial. Our most frequent routes link Turin with the Motor Valley around Modena, Germany, Switzerland, the Côte d’Azur and the United Kingdom.
The schedule is built around yours: a prototype that has to be on track early in the morning or at a show before the public opens travels on an agreed timetable. On call 7 days a week on our direct line.
05
Customs and ATA carnets
A prototype going to a motor show or a proving ground in Switzerland or the UK leaves the European Union temporarily and has to come back. That is exactly what an ATA carnet is for: it allows the car in temporarily without paying duties, on condition that it returns.
We handle customs clearance, ATA carnets and paperwork ourselves, working with your logistics team. The documents have to be ready before departure, so it pays to involve us as soon as the trip abroad is decided.
06
How it works
The same method as our other trips, with confidentiality as the first requirement.
- 01
You call
The person who answers is the person who drives. A first contact only needs the type of car, the route and the dates: confidential details come later.
- 02
We plan
Confidentiality agreement, date, assigned driver and a fixed price. Quote within one hour.
- 03
We load
At collection the prototype goes into the vehicle out of sight, is secured by the wheels and the bay closes. No photos.
- 04
We deliver
On the same vehicle, with no transfers or unagreed stops, straight to your contact.

Confidential request
A first request does not need the make and model: the type of car, the route and the dates are enough. The rest we settle later, under a confidentiality agreement. Or call us directly.
