What data we process

The quote form does not send anything to our server: it opens your email app with a pre-filled message, which you choose whether to send. We therefore only process what you write to us by email or tell us by phone: name, contact details, pickup and delivery locations, vehicle details.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which keeps technical access logs (IP address, date, page requested) for security and to run the service.

Why, and for how long

We use the data to answer your request, prepare the quote and carry out the transport (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), and to meet tax and legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)). We keep it for as long as the negotiation lasts and, if the transport goes ahead, for the periods required by law (10 years for tax records).

We do not sell the data or use it for advertising. Only our technical providers (hosting, email) and, for international transport, the customs operators involved can access it.

How we protect the data

The site runs only over HTTPS, with encryption enforced (HSTS), and does not store what you type in the form: there is no database and no third-party script. Requests we receive stay in the company mailbox, which is password-protected and read only by the Lory Trasporti staff handling the transport. For prototypes under a confidentiality agreement we take no photos of the load and share no route details.

Your rights

You can ask at any time to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, or object to its processing, by writing to lorytrasporti@yahoo.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
